Artist's Inner Monologue:

I kept returning to the village spaces I grew up around while creating this piece. Places filled with warmth and rhythm. This isn’t just about huts but about memories, transitions and the silent erosion of what once made us feel rooted. I had this constant idea of how a place full of life can slowly transform into a shell and how that transformation may mirror our disconnection from identity and tradition. The rounded, organic huts recall a time when culture was intact, when homes were lived in. I remember the sound of voices, the wisdom, the scent of open fires and the play between light and shadow on those mud walls. Now, they’re structures that barely hold. They’ve become skeletal, leaning and forgotten. They are places left behind, not just physically but emotionally. Places no longer held in memory, places the wind passes without pause.
